Amanda Bauman

Amanda is an Idahoan who hails from a long line of farmers in the area. Her strong work ethic is evident in everything she pursues, from fighting fires across the western United States and guiding fly fishing experiences at Silver Creek Outfitters.

Previously, Amanda worked as an educator at Sun Valley's Community School, where she developed a passion for teaching and building new foundations to foster a progressive classroom learning environment.

At Project Big Wood, she hopes to inspire a newfound sense of resilience and determination valley wide and is excited to collaborate with all partners and voices of the valley for a better Big Wood River.

Rising early with the sun, she's probably already out on the river and reeling in fish before most people have had their first sip of coffee.
