A Family Friendly Event where anglers can compete for the most impressive day on the Big Wood River.
THE CATCH
A SINGLE FLY - Anglers select a single fly to compete with. Once that fly is gone- you're done. Scores are calculated on the number of fish caught and the length of fish.
FRIDAY, JULY 26TH
3:30-6:30pm
FLY REGISTRATION @ SUN VALLEY OUTFITTERS
Competitors finalize their registration by choosing their SINGLE FLY.
4:00pm - 24 hr. Fishing Window Opens
SATURDAY, JULY 27TH
4:00pm - 24 hr. Fishing Window Closes
Competitors have a two consecutive hour window to fish on the Big Wood River
5:30-7:30pm AWARDS PARTY"FLIP FLOPS AND FLANNELS"
Competitors, family, and friends gather for awards ceremony and barbecue.
The proceeds from Sun Valley Single Fly benefit approximately 450 students in Blaine, Custer, Lemhi, Butte, and Ada counties. The Sahm 5th Grade Outdoor Adventure Program is a free three-day and two-night outdoor adventure education for every fifth grader enrolled in public school.
