Fish Rescue at gravel pit south of Bellevue

June 2025: fish rescue at gravel pit south of Bellevue

What an incredible show of community support! On June 26th, 2025, with a group of over 40 volunteers, 612 fish were rescued. These fish were trapped when the Big Wood River was diverted and the water was sent to Bypass and Glendale canals for irrigation. A huge thank you to all who came out, together we can make a difference!
