Peak Flows on the Big Wood River 2025

Updated: Jul 1

We asked you to predict when the Big Wood River would hit peak flow in Hailey this year – and at what CFS. Restoration Specialist, Miles Sweek, is here to give it to ya.

According to USGS data, the Big Wood hit 1730 CFS on May 12th, dipped, then climbed right back to 1730 on June 2nd. The closest guess overall? David Kelso, who predicted June 5th at 1966 CFS – just a few days off of the second peak and only 236 CFS high.
