Big Wood Breakdown: Bugs

This week, PBW Restoration Specialist Miles and Executive Director Jackson from The Salmonfly Project sample bugs on the Big Wood! We’re running 12 sites across the river and its tributaries.

Once the bugs are collected, they head to the lab over the winter and give us essential info on

abundance, hatches, and, very importantly, water quality. Bugs provide us with insight into the

food web and the integrity of the river. Drop in to the latest Big Wood Breakdown now!
